Shish Kebab means skewered meat in Turkish. I had no idea until I looked it up, because it’s so synonymous with American BBQ that it might as well be American. But I guess American food is unique in that it mixes everything together into some kind of fusion. This dish is a simple way to make a dog friendly meal if you happen to be grilling.
