Seafood is great for dogs. Ingredients like mussels and oysters are super nutritious (zinc, omega-3s) and a great addition to your homemade food. Feeding them a dish like this on occasion helps achieve a balanced diet as well.

Small pot with lid
Ingredients (Feel free to mix and match based on what you can get)
Choose 3-6 of the following
Wild salmon
Octopus
Clams (frozen or canned in water & no salt)
Shrimp
Oysters
Mussels
Crab meat (Make sure to get real, not imitation)
A small potato or sweet potato
Broccoli
Carrot
For the boil
Plain bone broth or water
Directions
Prepare the ingredients
Chop them into pieces your dog can easily chew.
Remove shells from all the seafood.
In a pot, bring the water or bone broth to a boil
Carefully add in all ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes until everything is well done. Seafood should be cooked through and any veggies or potatoes used should be soft.
Let it cool down until it’s a safe temperature (at the very least 15 minutes) before serving to your excited pup!
