NYE Baked Pawlaska, Pupeanut Butter Cups and highlights from 2023
Happy New Years Friends!
Reflecting back on this year, it’s a little hard to believe how much this has grown. Last year at this time Cedric didn’t have any social media accounts. Now we have over 650K subscribers across Tik Tok and Instagram. I’m really grateful for all your love and support. Im so excited for what’s to come this year.
Here are the links to my most recent recipes.
Baked Pawlska
The funny this is, I actually didn’t want to cook for Cedric when we first got him. The rhetoric on balanced meals is really convincing, and I didn’t think that I could do it properly. But before he came home, his whole litter had a bacterial infection and they were on strong antibiotics. It totally messed up his insides. When he kept vomiting the kibble, I had to try something. So in desperation I started feeding him eggs.
Not only did he keep the eggs down, he LOVED them. Since then Cedric has had almost one egg per day. I believe it’s one of the reasons why his coat is so healthy and shiny. In my opinion eggs are one of the best foods for dogs. In addition to a good macronutrient profile (fat and protein), eggs are rich in iron, phosphorous, selenium, iodine, vitamin E, D, A, and choline amongst many others.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the idea of feeding whole foods to your dog, remember that I had the exact same feeling just over one year ago. Now, it’s just what I do. I went from feeling overwhelmed and unsure, to cooking for him almost everyday. This newsletter and these recipes are here to make it easy for you to start. Below are the highlight of the most popular posts from 2023.
Daily Foods
These recipes are simple to make and balanced to AAFCO standards if you add a sea kelp or iodine supplement. Although AAFCO doesn’t set a standard for Omega-3, I highly recommend either a supplement or a fish based treat.

Special meals
Elevating a dining experience is not just about taste. For me it’s also about building memories and when I make it myself, it’s also about building skills. These special meals range from easy to hard, so you can ramp up your efforts slowly.
Oxtail Stew
Chicken Pup Pie
Pup and Me Meals
People and dogs are really not that different. With just a few modifications you can cook for yourself and your dog at the same time. Just don’t mix up the dog food with your own! :)
